As the Site Physician Quality and Patient Safety Officer for Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Dr. Alfredo Torres is familiar with the ingredients that go into delivering high quality health care. 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Rochester, Dr. Torres completed his residency at Rochester General Hospital.  During this time, he also worked on a surgical internship with Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. 

Following the completion of his residency, Dr. Torres worked in Rochester General’s Emergency   Department until 2008, when he joined Endion Hospitalist in January of that year.  While at Rochester General, Dr. Torres served as an Associate Director, responsible for total quality management and quality assurance.

Dr. Torres continued  delivering quality health care when in, the summer  of 2008,  he  was named   Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital’s Site Physician Quality and Patient Safety Officer.

Dr. Torres is also an avid (and published) photographer, “The Photo MD,” where he specializes in digital photography and imaging.  In fact, some of Dr. Torres’ work can be found on the walls of Endion’s office in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Dr. Torres’ other hobbies include hiking and mountain biking.
